Evolution® is a certified OEM packager of GE’s LM2500+G4 turbine engine and manufactures ultra-mobile, built for purpose, hydraulic fracturing power generation trailers. In addition, Evolution® has patents-pending for our custom turbine generator trailer, dual-pump trailer and dual-blender trailer designs.

Jeffrey G. Morris
Jeffrey G. Morris serves as our Executive Chairman. Mr. Morris has over 43 years of experience in the oil & gas industry and has led numerous companies for Bridas Energy since 1990. Prior to that, Mr. Morris was the Vice President of PCE Limited, a general contracting company performing US military construction contracts on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Mr. Morris began his career in the oil & gas industry as an sales & applications engineer with National Supply Company from 1977 to 1987. Mr. Morris holds a B.S. in Engineering Sales from Texas A&M University.
Chief Executive officer
Ben Bodishbaugh has served as our Chief Executive Officer since joining the company in 2013. Mr. Bodishbaugh has worked in the onshore US pressure pumping industry since 1998; serving in various management, operations, sales and engineering roles. In 2010, Mr. Bodishbaugh founded and then served as the Chief Operating Officer at Mission Well Services until its sale in 2013. Mr. Bodishbaugh has also held numerous positions with Trican Well Service, Liberty Pressure Pumping, and Weatherford Fracturing Technologies after beginning his career at Dowell Schlumberger. Mr. Bodishbaugh holds a Bachelors of Civil Engineering from Auburn University.
Steven W. Anderson
Chief Financial Officer
Steven Anderson has served as our Chief Financial Officer since the company’s founding. Prior to that, Mr. Anderson also served as Chief Financial Officer of Beusa Energy beginning in 2010. Mr. Anderson served as a Managing Director with KPMG, LLP working with a broad base of energy clients during a 12 year tenure. Mr. Anderson graduated cum laude with honors from Texas A&M University with a B.B.A. in Accounting and a M.S. in Finance.
Chief Operating Officer
Carrie Murtland serves as our Chief Operating Officer.Since joining EWS in 2017, Carrie has had various responsibilities including Vice President of Technology & Marketing as well as Vice President of Engineering, Procurement and Fleet Construction, and currently is responsible for building and leveraging EWS’ foundation of talent and technology to deliver top-tier service to Evolution Well Services’ E&P clients. Prior to joining EWS, Ms. Murtland served in various functions including engineering, marketing, and sales & service management for Weir Oil & Gas. Earlier in her career, Ms. Murtland was with AMEC Paragon. Carrie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
Vice President, Turbine Technology
Brett Vann serves as Vice President of our Turbine Technology. Mr. Vann joined Evolution in June of 2014 developing and engineering a custom mobile turbine package for our electric frac fleets. Mr. Vann has over 16 years of experience in the power and oil & gas industries. Prior to joining Evolution, Mr. Vann performed roles in field services, sales and project management designing and building power plants around the world ranging in size from 50 megawatt simple cycle plants to 80 megawatt combined cycle plants. From 2000 until 2007, Mr. Vann worked for GE in project engineering developing GE’s LMS100 gas turbines. Mr. Vann holds a B.S. Degree in Marine Engineering from Texas A&M University at Galveston.
Gregory V. Brown
Gregory Brown serves as our General Counsel and Secretary since its founding. Mr. Brown is responsible for all legal, intellectual property, regulatory, governmental relations and administrative business. From May 1996 until 2010, Mr. Brown served as a partner in the litigation and trial practice departments of the Houston offices of Jackson Walker L.L.P. and Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld L.L.P. Prior to practicing as an attorney, Mr. Brown served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Pascal F. Calogero, Jr. of the Louisiana Supreme Court of New Orleans. Mr. Brown received his law degree from Duke University School of Law and is a graduate of the University of New Orleans.
Vice President, Operations
Mr. Bateman joined Evolution Wells Services in early 2013 during the build and testing of the original electric fleet bringing his 29 years of experience in the industry. Mr. Bateman relocated to the US operation in 2014 to hold a key role in the design and set up of the Generation 2 fleet. In this role Mr. Bateman leads Evolution Well Services operations with integrity and expertise into the future of electric fracturing. Prior to his current role Mr. Bateman acquired invaluable knowledge and experience with Schlumberger for 19 years, both in Canada and the US in various positions. Prior to his time at Schlumberger, he was involved in two start up well service companies, Century Frac and Pioneer Natural Resources.
