Evolution Well Services (“Evolution”) is pleased to announce a three-year extension of their current electric fracturing partnership with Encino Energy (“Encino”) after achieving operational efficiencies and milestones in 2023.
In the first quarter of 2022, Encino engaged Evolution to begin providing its industry- leading electric fracturing technology to support its operations in Ohio. Evolution’s fully integrated approach to electric frac, power generation, field gas processing and compression has led to record operational efficiencies, reduced emissions, and significant well cost savings for Encino’s operations. To date, the partnership achieved many impressive milestones. In May of 2023, Evolution pumped an Appalachian record of 633 hours, and for all of 2023, the partnership achieved an impressive 6,106 pumping hours exclusively in the Ohio Utica basin. Additionally, the fleet achieved best in class mobilizations for the basin, resulting in multiple moves under forty-eight hours in the past year. Lastly, and most importantly, Encino and Evolution achieved these milestones while continuing to maintain a record of zero recordable HSE incidents for the duration of the multi-year partnership.
