Evolution Well Services® Announces Commercialization into Northeastern U.S. Market with Gulfport Energy

THE WOODLANDS, TX (JANUARY 2017) – Evolution Well Services announces their commercialization into the Utica Shale/Marcellus Shale market of North America with Gulfport Energy (NASDAQ: GPOR) as their client.
As a component of Evolution Well Services’ business plan to service each major North American geomarket, Evolution is launching operations with Gulfport Energy for a large scope of fracturing activity planned for January of 2017 in the Utica Shale of Ohio. Since initial commercialization, Evolution’s 100% electric, natural gas fueled, turbine powered fracturing fleet has been highly utilized in the Permian and the Eagle Ford basins. Evolution Well Services provides natural gas fueled, electrically driven hydraulic fracturing services by operating a proprietary, multi-patented system that generates electric power utilizing a General Electric TM2500+ gas turbine generator fueled by locally supplied field gas or alternate natural gas sources.
